katelyn’s story

City: Lundbreck, Alberta Username: Katelygeorge88 Story:

As I begin to tell my story about my journey of being a woman, mother and a proud part of my community, it is not easy to express the true trials and triumphs through out this lifetime.

I was put in the hospital at the age of 18-19 years old due to dramatic events that lead to finding out I was ill with a broken heart and broken mind.

But thankfully I had a great psychiatrist and team who helped and supported me through this process and coached me into the healing process! And most importantly my family and friends support carried me through my recovery ❤️‍🩹

I was then hospitalized voluntarily around one year later and again gained so much strength and confidence and collected the tools ⚒️ to overcome this trauma I endured.

Moving forward I then became a Wife, a Mother of a beautiful son and again later on to another beautiful son!

Since then I keep going and never forgetting how blessed I am to have such an amazing and inspiring support system through it all!

Like the saying goes: your rear view mirror is smaller than your windshield meaning never forget your past experience, keep looking forward and be present 💝 in your today!

I am proud to be Katelyn and will always in still my heart ♥️ and mind and soul to my children and my family and friends and the youth who need it most!

A very well deserved recognition and my personal rock 🪨 through it all is to my Mum and my Stepdad who will always be there to help me always and forever ♾️

I want everyone who is fighting the battle daily to always remember you are never alone..🌹
